What is body awareness?
Body awareness is an inquiry into your physical body and how you interact with the world. It’s a journey into who you are as a unique individual. Through exploration you will become more aware of who you are, living in this unique body.  You will become more connected with yourself.

Benefits of becoming more body aware?

  • Improves co-ordination and allows better spacial awareness so you are less likely to injure yourself.
  • Increases awareness of other people around you and improves your connection with them.
  • Allows awareness of where you hold tension, pain and postural habits that aren’t helpful so you can gently release them.

When you change the way you move through life you change the way you feel, the physical body and emotions are interconnected.
